There’s something magical about autumn—the crisp air, golden light, and the way nature transforms into a warm-hued masterpiece. A while back, I had the pleasure of capturing that magic in a dreamy fashion shoot with the beautiful Michelle at The Pumpkin Patch at Richmond Country Farms. The shoot was originally for Muse Goods and Vintage, an independent online vintage store, and while they’re no longer around, the spirit of vintage fashion and timeless style remains in these images.

The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Rows of pumpkins in rich orange tones, golden sunlight filtering through the trees, and a backdrop of seasonal blooms created a stunningly romantic atmosphere. We embraced the warmth of autumn in every frame, highlighting cozy textures, earthy hues, and vintage silhouettes that complemented the scenery.

Michelle brought effortless grace to the shoot, perfectly embodying the nostalgia and charm of vintage fashion. Flowing dresses, delicate florals, and layered knits gave each shot a sense of timeless elegance. The contrast of soft, feminine pieces against the rustic farm setting added depth and character to the imagery, making each photograph feel like a glimpse into an autumn daydream.

This shoot was a love letter to the beauty of the season, celebrating not only fashion but also the fleeting moments of warmth before winter’s chill. Though Muse Goods and Vintage is no longer around, I’m grateful to have been part of their journey and to have created these lasting memories.
